Campus News: DBMS English School Jamshedpur hosts ‘Number Ninjas’ Maths quiz

Jamshedpur, Jan 18: D.B.M.S English School proudly hosted the 6th Inter School Maths Quiz Contest, “Number Ninjas,” on 18th January, 2024. Initiated by Bhanumathi Neelakantan, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 18 schools during the Preliminary round, with 6 teams advancing to the finals.

Renowned Quiz master, Vinay Mudaliar, known for his television quiz shows and Mindcogs venture, led the challenging event for Std. VII & VIII students. The finals, consisting of 5 rounds, featured logical puzzles testing participants’ problem-solving and numerical skills.

6 schools qualified for finals

Loyola School, Little Flower School, Kerala Samajam Model School, Sacred Heart Convent School, Hill Top School and Motilal Nehru Public School qualified for the finals.

Kerala Samajam Model School clinches victory

Kerala Samajam Model School emerged victorious, securing the top spot with 65 points in a closely contested competition. Sacred Heart Convent School claimed the second position with 50 points, while Hill Top School secured the third place with 31 points.

The event’s success was attributed to the engagement of both participants and the audience, with the School Management Committee members, Principal Rajani Shekhar, and Vice-Principal P. K. Sahu providing essential guidance and encouragement throughout the Quiz.
