BSNL Women’s Association Jamshedpur honours outstanding female employees

Jamshedpur, March 24: The BSNL Telecom Women’s Welfare Association (TWWO), Jamshedpur, held a special meeting to recognize the contributions of outstanding female officers and employees.

In an event marked by appreciation and celebration, Rakhi Biruli was honored as the Best Female Officer, while Usha Devi received the award for Best Female Employee—both nominated by the Jharkhand Circle.

Additionally, Kirti Madam was felicitated for securing a prestigious national ranking for Jamshedpur in Kala Manjusha, an initiative promoting art and culture. Jyoti Srivastava was also recognized for her remarkable achievement in booking the highest number of connections under the FTTH (Fiber to the Home) provisioning.

The event coincided with International Women’s Day, where all attendees celebrated by cutting a cake and congratulating each other. On this occasion, President Kiran Rai spoke about the importance of women empowerment and outlined future welfare programs aimed at supporting and uplifting women within the organization.

The event was graced by the presence of Secretary Sunita Singh, Treasurer Smita Kujur, Jyotsna Dwivedi, Shilpi Shikha, and several other members of the association.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, reaffirming TWWO’s commitment to fostering a culture of recognition, empowerment, and professional growth for women in the telecom sector.
