Helpline for Immediate Reporting

The Deoghar administration has provided a helpline number (100) for beneficiaries to report any suspicious calls. Beneficiaries are encouraged to notify the police or the nearest police station if they receive calls from individuals claiming to be government officials offering assistance with the scheme. Deoghar Takes Lead in Combating Cyber Frauds

Deoghar is the first district in the state to issue such an alert for Maiya Samman Yojna beneficiaries. With the majority of beneficiaries residing in rural areas, they are particularly vulnerable to cyber fraud.

The district, which has emerged as a hotspot for cyber crimes following Jamtara, is now leading efforts to raise awareness and eliminate the fraud network. The DC has instructed local police stations and cyber crime control authorities to launch a campaign to protect beneficiaries from falling victim to fraud.
