Ranchi, Dec 13: Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his wife, MLA Kalpana Soren, offered prayers today at the Baba Baidyanath Dham temple in Deoghar. The priests conducted the ceremony with full rituals, accompanied by Vedic chanting. The Chief Minister and his wife prayed for Jharkhand’s prosperity, progress, and well-being by offering water to Lord Bholenath.
Grand welcome at Deoghar Airport
Hemant Soren and Kalpana Soren received a grand welcome upon their arrival at Deoghar airport. Sarath MLA Uday Shankar Singh, Santhal Pargana Commissioner Lalchand Dadel, Santhal Pargana IG Kranti Kumar, DIG Sanjeev Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Vishal Sagar, and Superintendent of Police Ajit Peter Dungdung were present to greet the Chief Minister.

The district administration honoured him with a ceremonial guard of honour at the airport premises. This visit holds special significance for the people of Jharkhand.

Notably, Chief Minister Hemant Soren is on a two-day tour of Santhal Pargana. This visit is considered significant from religious, administrative, and political perspectives. It is particularly special as it marks his first visit to Santhal Pargana since the formation of the new government.
