Jamshedpur, May 15: St. John’s High School, Jugsalai, came alive with laughter, learning, and creativity as it successfully hosted a vibrant summer camp that blended fun with purpose. The camp, which ran daily from 8:30 am to 11:30 am within the school premises, witnessed participation from students who dived into a wide range of creative, intellectual, and physical activities designed to boost their confidence, creativity, and team spirit.

One of the key highlights was the Tallest Tower Challenge, where students exhibited teamwork, coordination, and problem-solving skills, while the Selfie Booth turned into a joyful corner for self-expression. The Obstacle Challenge tested and strengthened physical endurance and mental grit, adding a thrill to the daily camp.

Creativity and mindfulness found a perfect outlet in the Mandala Art Workshop, where children painted their emotions through intricate designs and vibrant colors. The activity enhanced their concentration and aesthetic appreciation. The Invisible Ink science activity, on the other hand, sparked curiosity and a scientific spirit as students explored the mysterious world of hidden messages.

The camp also embraced technology through the engaging Java Dreams session, where children learned computer basics and new tech concepts in a simplified, enjoyable format. Adding more excitement, the Treasure Hunt game refined their observation skills and decision-making under pressure, while promoting teamwork and agility.

Speaking on the occasion, the Principal, Ashu Tiwary, expressed immense pride in the success of the camp. “This summer camp was organized with the aim of making the summer holidays creative, informative and enjoyable. The participation, curiosity and confidence of the children made this camp very successful. We will continue to organize such camps in the future as well so that the all-round development of the children can take place,” she said.
